Ibanez 2840

The 2840 is a York series acoustic guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 1973. It was made in Japan and it is part of the Vintage series.

The 2840 features a grand concert body shape with a fine grained spruce top on selected matched rosewood back and sides. The soundhole is round and trimmed with an intricate inlaid wood rosette. It has a solid mahogany neck with a rosewood reinforcement stripe down the entire neck, a 20-fret polished rosewood fingerboard with white side dots. Components include a none compensated bone saddle in a polished rosewood bridge with wood marquetry, a bone nut, and chrome plated precise tuning machine with pearloid buttons.
